Four commitments that separate a properly trained wet basement repair crew from a generalist showing up with a truck and a hope.
Technicians evaluate interior and exterior conditions together — grading, existing drainage, wall condition, humidity levels — rather than diagnosing in isolation.
A wet basement threatens flooring, belongings, and air quality the longer it sits untreated.
Every quote is written and provided before any work begins, regardless of how many components the fix involves.
We stock materials for both interior and exterior approaches so a combination fix doesn't require multiple separate visits for equipment.
Each service below is scoped specifically to wet basement repair, not a generic waterproofing menu with the name swapped in.
Standing water is extracted with pumps before any diagnostic work or repair begins, since you can't properly assess a source while wading through it.
We walk the full property, inside and out, mapping every contributing factor — grading slope, downspout placement, existing drain tile condition, wall cracks.
This is often paired with grading correction rather than installed as a standalone fix when exterior conditions are also contributing.
We identify visible mold during the diagnostic and connect you with certified remediation partners before proceeding with the waterproofing fix.
A properly sized dehumidifier, paired with any structural fixes, brings relative humidity down to levels that don't support ongoing mold growth.
Here's what happens between your call and a resolved wet basement.
A few questions about how long the issue has been present help the technician prepare for what they might find.
Most Comstock Park, MI wet basement assessments are scheduled quickly given the compounding nature of ongoing moisture exposure.
A complete interior and exterior walkthrough identifies every contributing cause, not just the most visible one.
We don't consider the job complete until moisture readings confirm the basement is holding dry through at least one significant rain event after the fix.
